Southampton Solent University is one of the UK's newest universities, since we became a university in July 2005 and officially changed our name on 15 August 2005. But although our name is new we're already well known for the distinctive way we link together student learning, applied research and service to business and the community. In this way we give our students the best learning experience and the best start to their future careers that we can.
Conference Centre
The Southampton Solent University Conference Centre, situated in the city centre is superbly equipped to cater for all your conference and meeting needs. Air conditioned for comfort, its two tiered lecture theatres both seat between 170-190 delegates and are fully equipped with a high standard of audio visual facilities.
In addition, two large reception suites and over 50 syndicate and classrooms cater for training sessions, exams, meetings and breakouts from the main conference.
We are proud to boast an award for the access and facilities offered to those with specific needs.
