Mavis Hall Park Ltd. is a small family owned business which has been organising events since 1987. Our long experience and small friendly team means that you get a personal touch combined with a professional approach to help create your event.
Our own venue, Mavis Hall Park, is home to a cluster of traditional farm buildings which hide in secret. They also act as the base for a whole host of activities which take place in the surrounding 200 acres.
Tucked away at the foot of Lammermuir Hills, Mavis Hall Park has all the peace and tranquillity of a country setting, combined with the convenience of being only 40 minutes from Edinburgh city centre.
The farm buildings have a unique old world charm which is difficult to match and makes for a truly magical and memorable event - the old cattle sheds, stable and hay loft are now used for barbecues, barn dinners and ceilidhs and are also gaining a reputation as the perfect venue for a wedding with a difference.
We can have a bonfire blazing in the courtyard and a spit roast pig sizzling under the arches. The barns are decorated in rustic style using tartan, fresh greenery and hessian with wild flowers on the tables. We can style the barn to suit any theme you wish and are happy to discuss this with you.
