Venues.org.uk grows its social media
As social media becomes more and more important from a business perspective, venues.org.uk is delighted to announce the relaunch of its Twitter feed and the launch of its brand new Facebook page.
Brand Director of venues.org.uk Andy Hannigan said: βThere has been a massive increase over the last 12 months in the use of Social Media and we are finding that marketing companies, event organisers and party planners are increasing their visibility via this medium.βWe are constantly growing our site as well as evolving and expanding our outlook and as such we are looking to reach event bookers who may not have used us before, also we want to make it easier and more convenient than ever for anybody to post a lead to our many thousands of member venues. We see both Twitter and Facebook as an ideal way to highlight what is already the biggest venue directory site within the UK. Since relaunching our Twitter feed last month we have grown our followers to over 3,000 and to accompany this we have launched our new Facebook page. Not only will these outlets be a valuable way of making people aware of news, special offers and events, we have also added the facility for anybody to post an enquiry for an event on these feeds. We have in a very short space of time experienced not only an increase in leads to the site, but also an increase in higher value leads for major corporate events. Our team will be working very hard over the next few months to enhance our social media offering as well as enhancing the overall user experience on site.β
