Venues.org.uk at Confex – Day 1
The Venues team were up with the birds ensuring our stand was ready for visitors to the International Confex Exhibition.
This year the event is being held at The ExCel – a departure from previous year’s when traditionally the show was at Earls Court.Despite the move the show is bigger and bolder this year with over 900 exhibitors and an increased emphasis on the International Aspect.
For the first time this year, we introduced two new members of the team, John Hooke-Tappin and Leon Evans and the show hasn’t disappointed in terms of visitors. All the team have been busy from the opening bell in fielding enquiries from new venues looking to list and raise their profile, to event bookers who have been looking for a new avenue to post their business enquiries.
If today is anything to go by, the remaining two days should ensure once again a very successful event for the Venues team.
