There is a ‘kids’ camp’* on-site with Regional Sports Schools offering a host of daily sporting and craft options. You can also take full advantage of the resort’s extensive leisure facilities which are suited for family fun. Spend the day swimming, playing tennis or squash or getting some fresh Welsh air taking long walks or bike rides in the countryside which surrounds the Resort.

If you fancy some time away from the children then you can enjoy a round on one of the Resort’s two championship golf courses or indulge in a luxurious treatment at the Vale Spa. The Vale Resort's children’s timetable has many options to keep them busy including street dance, yoga kidz, crazy crafts, gym and circuit sessions. Or they can hit the games room where they can expend some energy on the Wii and Playstation and work on their pool and table tennis skills.

On Sunday 4th November there will be a children’s party from 3.00pm pm to 5.00pm for young guests to enjoy a host of children’s activities, disco, bouncy castle and party food. This is FREE for residents’ children between 5 and 12 years old. This is followed by the Vale Resort's annual firework spectacular.

If you’re keen to explore the local area then you could always take a family day out to nearby attractions including hands-on science discovery centre Techniquest, the new Who exhibition in Cardiff Bay, Cardiff International Swimming Pool or paddle time at the White Water rafting centre both at Cardiff’s International Sports Village.

If you’re looking for something with a spookier edge, visit St Fagans Museum of Welsh Life (free entry) which will be holding a celebration of all hallows week offering spooky arts and craft sessions and other scary activities!
