New GM for Congress Centre

Congress Centre, the London "events venue":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/event_venues.asp, has a new general manager, Paul Jones. Reporting to centre director Robert Girvan, Jones will be responsible for the day-to-day running of events at the centre and will oversee all technical, logistical and catering arrangements. Previous roles include "conference":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_venues.asp and "banqueting":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/banqueting_venues.asp manager at the Russell Hotel and assistant general manager of TGI Fridays. “Paul brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge and outstanding organisation skills and is a real asset to the team, we’re all delighted to have him on board,” says Robert Girvan.
