Londonâs main event for corporate and professional event planners
A new exhibition for Londonâs events scene comes to the capital in June â and itâs one that both corporate and professional event organisers, and party planners, wonât want to miss!
easyFairsÂŽ londonlaunch LIVE (June 25-26 at Earls Court 2) brings together leading London venues, caterers, entertainers, event management, hospitality, production, creative design, staffing agencies, florists, security, and speciality package providers under one roof.
Peter Heath, Managing Director of easyFairsÂŽ UK, said: âLondon is a massive international player in the hospitality and conference sectors â and we thought it about time there was a trade show dedicated to the city and the diversity of opportunity it offers event organisers. We want to showcase the capitalâs venues and services to professionals tasked with creating engaging, stimulating events, parties, exhibitions and conferences.
The show â expected to attract upwards of 100 exhibitors â features a Celebrity Chef âcook-offâ starring, amongst others, Ready, Steady, Cook regular Lesley Walters, and an Ibiza-theme VIP party provided by Ministry of Sound and Staar Productions.
The show will be the first ever UK expo to receive a new environmental evaluation from âecOeventâ, an initiative designed to deliver sustainable, waste neutral events with minimal environmental impact.
ecOevent will be launching its Gold-Silver-Bronze eco-rating scheme at easyFairsÂŽ londonlaunch LIVE â a show bringing London venues, caterers, entertainers, event management, production, creative design, staffing agencies, florists, security, and speciality package providers together under one roof.
And whilst there assessors will evaluate the green credentials of the show itself, taking into account aspects such as how many products contain recycled material, energy efficiency, waste management, and whether sets are created using wood from sustainable forests and lead-free paint.
Event budgeting to beat the credit crunch, âstrategicâ catering, and eco-friendly event management are just some of the issues being discussed as part of a lively seminar programme at easyFairsÂŽ londonlaunch LIVE. Visitors can also tap into a wealth of expert opinion and advice from some of the countryâs leading events authorities taking part in the showâs learnShops⢠seminar programme.
In todayâs challenging economic climate, the seminar by AOK Eventsâ Alex Hewitt on money saving tips in corporate hospitality is ideal for event organisers looking to cut costs without cutting corners.
Visitors can get details of the latest events space offerings from top venues like the May Fair hotel, Ministry of Sound, Kensington Conference Centre, the Law Society Hall, Savoy Place and the SAS Portman Hotel, whilst several exhibitors will also be showcasing newly refurbished corporate entertainment areas.
Former Chelsea and England striker Kerry Dixon, champion jockey Pat Eddery, and cricketer-cum-ballroom dance star Mark Ramprakash will be signing autographs on the stand of Eclipse Sports Promotions â a company that guarantees sporting legends on event guest lists.
Elsewhere, caterers like Canapeum Events, Fizz UK, Sodexo and Country Caterers will serve up creative canapĂŠs for visitors, whilst childrenâs event specialists Les Enfants and Planet Splodge are sure to keep younger guests entertained. Contortionist Criss Cross will also be unravelling himself!
