Expansion for EICC

Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is set to open a further 3,255 square metres of space in 2009. The new space will be linked to the existing 1200-seat "conference centre":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_venues.asp and, it is claimed, will further enhance EICC’s reputation as one of the most technologically advanced "meetings":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/meeting_rooms_venues.asp and entertainment spaces in Europe. “We already have a unique product here,” says EICC chief executive, Hans Rissmann. “This superb news will now allow us to do things on a larger scale with even greater economic impact for the city. We believe we will be offering something truly one-off that will take the events industry to the next level in the use of technology.”
