Confex rise confirmed

ABC audited figures confirm that International Confex 2007 saw a 16 per cent increase in pure visitor numbers and an 11 per cent increase in total attendance, the biggest rise in seven years. The total number of visitors at this year’s show was 12,340, up from 11,127 in 2006. This figure includes 8,366 pure visitors, up from 7,211 in 2006. “We are delighted that the ABC figures for this year’s show have been confirmed showing the biggest rise in visitor numbers in seven years,” says event director, Duncan Reid. “I am confident that this year’s investment will have an effect on visitor numbers in the future and the event will continue to grow.”
