Just over one year after launching its Smithfield training and "conference centre":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_training_venues.asp, CCT "Venues":http://www.venues.org.uk opened its second site in July in a new building next to Barbican tube in the City of London.
CCT Venues–Barbican has been designed to provide the ideal setting for graduate programmes and assessment "events":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/event_venues.asp, as well as "training":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/training_centres_venues.asp, "meetings":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/meeting_rooms_venues.asp, workshops and other activities.
The venue offers a wide range of facilities to meet the needs of clients organising large events including a variety of room sizes - from several that are ideal for breakouts/syndicates to larger rooms accommodating up to 120 people theatre-style.
It is also DDA compliant, with good access and disabled toilet facilities on all floors, and will follow the same pricing model as Smithfield including a day delegate rate with lunch of just ÂŁ54.95 + VAT.
“We launched our first venue in April of last year offering high-quality facilities and services in a central location with excellent transport links, but at significantly lower rates than the London average,” says managing director, Caroline Bull. “This formula was so successful that we soon needed a second site, but we wanted something very specific to our clients’ needs and designed with their help. I’ve opened eight conference and "training centres":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/training_centres_venues.asp in 15 years, but I’ve never been so impressed with a building for this type of use. It’s going to be a fantastic addition to the London market.”
