Bank of England Governor makes first speech of year in Nottingham

Around 500 people, including various business dignitaries and the national and local media, attended a recent Confederation of British Industry (CBI) dinner to hear the Governor of the Bank of England, Mervyn King, make his first speech of the New Year.
