ABPCO chooses Newcastle Gateshead

NewcastleGateshead has been picked to host the ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers) annual "conference":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_centres_venues.asp 2008. The event will take place at selected venues including Hilton NewcastleGateshead, Matfen Hall and The Sage Gateshead in January 2008 and is expected to attract around 30-40 of the UK’s top professional conference organisers. “This is a fantastic development for business tourism in NewcastleGateshead,” says head of business tourism, Jessica Roberts. “To be chosen by industry leaders in the conference field confirms that we are one of the most vibrant and exciting conference destinations in the UK with the ability to provide first class facilities and accommodate the best in the business.”
